I'm probably making some things more complicated than they need to be, but I am hoping that if I keep having so much fun with the archery I can join a longbow group that also does some creative/re-enactment stuff, and I might want to use this costume there. So it needs to be functional too.

Cycled over the big hill to Renkum today to get a skein of the wool I need to finish the bag I'm knitting. 11km, half of it uphill, half of it against the wind. Feel I deserve some chilled out knitting time now.

Elf Fair today. I liked how my outfit turned out (photos to follow), though the jacket was too warm for such a gorgeous day and I carried it a part of the time. Peoplewatched. Caught up with Nath. Got rather dehydrated and over-sunned. Tired now.
